Hurricane Melissa has unleashed a path of devastation across the beautiful island nation of Jamaica, leaving widespread damage and a community in urgent need of support. Our deepest thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with all individuals and families who have been impacted by this powerful natural disaster.

At IDES, we are in constant and active communication with our dedicated partners on the ground in both Jamaica and neighboring Haiti. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation, gathering real-time updates, and assessing the full extent of the damage. Our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all those affected.

As soon as conditions are deemed safe for our personnel and resources, IDES is fully prepared to deploy some of our staff along with essential aid and resources.

This year, our Angel Tree will benefit a new program we're launching at Discover called GiftMart!


Take a tag from the tree and purchase a new toy for an elementary aged child that is valued within that price range (The regular purchase price is what you're aiming for...if you get your toy on sale, great!)


Please return your unwrapped items to the Worship Center Lobby by December 7!


Parents from a school within our 2-mile radius will then have the opportunity to come into the church, interact with our volunteers, and purchase the gifts for a small donation which will go directly back to the school to benefit their materials and programming, affording them the dignity they deserve.

a little story of big generosity

This four-year-old visited Discover with his grandma to tour a special place where his dad grew up. When we entered the Worship Center, he saw the trees displayed on the stage and wanted to pick out a toy for another child in need.


He and his grandma went right to the store to pick something out, and he knew exactly which toy he wanted to get.

Together, we prayed over the family that would receive this sweet gift in Jesus' precious name.

Harvest of hope

Bring hope to our neighbors this holiday season through the Dublin Food Pantry! Due to state & federal budget cuts to aid organizations and the impact of inflation on household finances, the need is greater than ever. Our goal has doubled from previous years in order to fill the needs in our community. Help us collect 200 boxes (or packets) of instant mashed potatoes.


Please double plastic bag and drop your donations off at the Global Outreach Corner no later than Sunday, November 2!

CCHO provides a safe and stable environment where abused, neglected and traumatized children find healing, discover hope and experience unconditional love. Originally founded in 1969, CCHO’s residential treatment facility in Wooster, OH is designed to meet the mental, emotional, physical, recreational and spiritual needs of as many as 45 children at one time. Children in residential care are provided a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as equine-assisted therapy, art, group, partial hospitalization, individual, play and certified trauma therapy.
