WELCOME

"Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to His name."

- Hebrews 13:15 [NLT] -

WHO YOU SAY I AM

VERSE 1

Who am I that the highest King would welcome me

I was lost but He brought me in oh His love for me

Oh His love for me

CHORUS 1

Who the Son sets free oh is free indeed

I’m a child of God yes I am

VERSE 2

Free at last He has ransomed me His grace runs deep

While I was a slave to sin Jesus died for me

Yes He died for me

CHORUS 2

Who the Son sets free oh is free indeed

I’m a child of God yes I am

In my Father’s house there’s a place for me

I’m a child of God yes I am

BRIDGE 2X

I am chosen not forsaken I am who You say I am

You are for me not against me I am who you say I am

RESURRECTING

VERSE 1

The head that once was crowned with thorns

Is crowned with glory now

The Savior knelt to wash our feet

Now at His feet we bow

VERSE 2

The One who wore our sin and shame

Now robed in majesty

The radiance of perfect love

Now shines for all to see

CHORUS 2X

Your name Your name is victory

All praise will rise to Christ our King

VERSE 3

The fear that held us now gives way

To Him who is our peace

His final breath upon the cross

Is now alive in me

CHORUS 2X

BRIDGE 3X

By your Spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat

The resurrected King is resurrecting me

In Your name I come alive to declare Your victory

The resurrected King is resurrecting me

CHORUS 2X

SHARING IN COMMUNION TOGETHER

"And when He [Jesus] had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."

- 1 Corinthians 11:24-26 [NIV] -

Please raise your hand if you did not receive a communion packet and we will bring one to you. In just a moment, we will take communion together.

The tomb where soldiers watched in vain

Was borrowed for three days

His body there would not remain

Our God has robbed the grave

Our God has robbed the grave

MESSAGE

THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE

JOHN 16:7-8

But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. (NLT)

What Jesus says about the Holy Spirit in John’s Gospel:

JOHN 3:6-8

Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, “You must be born again.” The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.

- JOHN 4:23-24 -

But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.

- JOHN 14:16 -

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.

- JOHN 14:12 -

I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

In summary, Jesus says the Holy Spirit:

> produces spiritual life in us

> connects to our spirit to God as we worship in spirit and truth

> advocates on our behalf, and leads us into all truth

> empowers us to do great things

How do we know the Holy Spirit is at work in us?

- GALATIANS 5:22-23 -

The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

The Holy Spirit will help you play your part in God’s masterpiece.

Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring

Worthy of every breathe we could ever breathe

We live for You

CHORUS 2X

Open up my eyes in wonder

Show me who You are and fill me with Your heart

And lead me in Your love to those around me

It is a firm foundation

I will put my trust in You alone

And I will not be shaken
