MATTHEW 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

As Jesus followers, we believe it is important to bring transformation by loving and serving God's people - where ever they are. We partner with international, domestic and local agencies and work directly with families, schools, businesses, parks, townships, and other ministry organizations. Opportunities to serve others are all around us: across the world, across the state across the city and/or the street. Service is done through our Life Groups, small groups, families, and individuals.

Discover will be conducting this church-wide food-bagging event on Sunday April 28, 2019 during both services. Join us for worship for an hour and bag food for the other.

  • Windward Islands School of Evangelism - WISE

MINISTRY:  Windward Islands School of Evangelism is committed to training committed Christians for the highest level of service, which God enables, being concerned that students develop a commitment to and capability for serving the body of Christ for the glory of God. The WISE commitment is to aid students in sharpening their tools for a more effective ministry.

Discover is sending 4 men to serve on the team conducting a Kairos weekend at Madison Correctional the weekend of April 11-14. There are several ways you can GO! with us to serve the men incarcerated there.

Prayer is the most important help you can support this Kairos Weekend. We ask for prayer for each hour of the weekend – from 4:00 PM on Thursday 4/11 through 4:00PM on Sunday 4/14.

Are you willing to GO! pray for us?

Cookies. This is another way that we share God’s love inside our prisons. Kairos volunteers will be giving a dozen home baked cookies to every inmate (est. 2,700 and every staff member (est. 400) at Madison Correctional. After considered what is needed during the weekend its self, the team needs about 7,000 dozen home-baked cookies.  The Discover men will need to bring in about 400 dozen cookies. It’s amazing what an impact your act of generosity and love can have on these individuals.

We can use your help. Are you willing to GO! bake a two dozen or more cookies?  Put each dozen into a gallon-size zip-loc bag and bring them to Discover. They are due by Sunday, March 30.

Green Agape. Kairos is also a self-funding ministry which needs about $7,000 to host one of these weekends. Are you willing to GO! into your pockets to help this ministry with your monetary as well?  Every dollar helps.  Please make your check payable to Kairos of Ohio and put MaCI #10 on the memo line.
