The book of Revelation can be terrifying. Confusing. Overwhelming. But in this video series, Shane simplifies Revelation by taking you step-by-step through the proper tools to engage the text. He answers questions like: “What is prophecy?”, “What do we do with the Mark of the Beast?”, and even “What about the rapture?”  Shane is a young, engaging Ozark Christian College professor who was recognized by Theology Degrees Online as one of the “100 Remarkable Professors & Scholars Theology Students Should Know About”. He knows how to make complicated things simple. Miss a week? Not a problem…this series is available online each week so you can stay up to date.

Learn how to have a spiritual impact on grandchildren and adult children. Today’s empty nesters often face many obstacles: busy children living far away, poor to severed relationships, prodigal children…and the list goes on. How do we pray? How do we mend fences? How do we share Jesus with our grandkids? Find answers through biblical teaching and class discussion with other parents.

Christians, and especially Christian parents, often feel overwhelmed by culture’s attack on our faith. This elective will seek to answer questions like how we got the Bible we use today, is it reliable, why God allows suffering and evil, and more Christians need to prepare themselves to answer their kids’ questions, as well as those of co-workers, family, friends and foes. We may even struggle with these questions ourselves!

  • We're excited about our upcoming fall kickoff Bible study launching September 7th: The Good Investor's Guide to Spiritual Health and Money: A Bible study exploring the deep connection between our spiritual health and our finances.  While many life groups are doing this study, we'll also offer it twice on Sunday mornings.

Through this 7-week Bible study, we'll examine the differences between our modern money culture (the wide path) compared to God's word (the narrow path). We'll be challenged to think differently about money and grow in our walk with Christ. Participants say this is unlike any other financial study they have done and appreciate that it doesn't focus on budgets or numbers, but rather the deeper spiritual matters of the heart.

    Mixed Class  Location: The Commons

Leaders: Mike Perez and Paul Griffith

  • Join us for this 9-week study which will focus on the highlights of Exodus and Numbers as God delivers His people from slavery in Egypt and then takes them on a journey to the promised land.  We'll study not only what God did for the Israelites, but also study how He is delivering us today as well.

    Location: Commons

    Leader: George Fisher

  • The book of Revelation to many seems bizarre, not practical on a daily basis, and hard to understand, but the first 5 words of chapter 1 tell us it is the "revelation of Jesus Christ" to show us what is to take place.  Jesus wants us to understand it! Shane Wood will go chapter by chapter to make Revelation very practical to everything we do on a daily basis.

Note: We offered Shane's class this summer that took us step-by-step through the proper tools to engage Revelation's text. Missed it? Click here to create your free RightNow Media account. Click here to watch Simplifying Revelation: How to Read the Book of Revelation.
