Senior adults

PURPOSE

Senior adult ministry exists to provide opportunity for discipleship through Bible study,

fellowship through monthly activities, and compassion towards others through various service projects.


VISION

We exist to connect senior adults together in order to help them love God, love people and impact the world for Jesus Christ. 

SEcond half

The Second Half program is for adults (married or single) who are not yet retired-empty nesters looking to meet like adults and do life together. SecondHalf will connect you with other adults for the purpose of building a legacy of loving God, loving people and impacting the world as a disciple of Christ. SecondHalf will help you find an enjoyable way to use your talent with others in ministry. The whole experience will move you from success to significance. Such as:

  • Short term overnight or longer mission projects.
  • Service project or ministry in the Discover & Dublin communities.
  • Relationship activities with each other involving local and travel opportunities.
  • Weekly Bible Study in DCC Youth Center--Tues. @ 7PM with Dave Huddle

Young at heart

The Young At Heart program is for retired adults wanting less active fellowship,  mutual support and helpful service to each other and to Discover Christian Church. 

  • Weekly Bible Study in DCC Chapel --Monday @ 1 PM with David Huddle.
  • Occasional Retreats and several Seasonal Activities.
